Bangkok International Schools

Bangkok International schools are private schools serving mostly expatriate children (diplomats, multinational corporation executives, NGO staff), and usually some local families (that can afford the steep tuition). Student population is usually diverse, with students from many different countries. Most schools offer grades PK - 12 (ages 5 - 18), but some are restricted to high school or primary school, depending on the needs of the population.

International schools in Bangkok usually choose to follow a curriculum model from the US, UK, Canada or Australia/New Zealand. Sometimes you can tell by the name of the school (like the American School of Bangkok) but others are more ambiguous (like the International School Bangkok). Still others choose to pull from all different curriculum options, finding the mix that best suits their student population.

Many of these schools were originally established for children of people who worked at embassies or multinational corporations or who were missionaries. These families, living outside their home countries and likely to change countries as part of their job, were seeking a consistent type of education, delivered in English, at schools from which they could transfer their children to other countries without the loss of academic credit.

Broadly speaking, international schools are classified into three educational systems in Thailand: American, British and international. Although, the American and the British systems predominate, other national systems are represented as well e.g. Swiss, Japanese, French and German.

Courses offered by the Bangkok international school lead to internationally recognized qualification such as the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE), the International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), and the General Certificate of Education at Advanced level (GCE”A”Level). These are academically rigorous courses, which enable students who have satisfactorily met the examination requirements to be admitted to universities or other institutions of higher learning either in Thailand or overseas.

Cosmetic Breast Implant Reviews

Before you consider having a procedure, its always wise to do your homework and make sure that the doctor is accredited. Spend some time to read a plastic surgery review and if possible reach out and get referrals and examples. Most commonly, each practice has a specialty and they vary from clinic to clinic, try to find a practice that specializes in the type of procedure you’d like to obtain.

Another thing to consider is the fact that having the best marketing doesn’t always mean you’ll get the best quality service so keep that in mind. Check with the better business bureau and the AMA to make sure that the business has current licensing. Also, inquire about the state of the practice’s equipment. It’s not always the case but if the machinery is new then that may indicate that the practice has a lot of clients and therefore is well known and respected. If you are planning to have financing for plastic surgery then spend some time reviewing each and every aspect of the practice, talking to the nurses and getting a good feel for the type of operation the doctor is running. In addition, see if they have any testimonials or marketing materials.

There are a few factors to consider when choosing a practice. Its always a good idea to hire a seattle photographer to take pictures before and after. Customer service, quality, and price are all considerations but also make sure you feel comfortable with the doctors and staff and it’s a good idea to see someone that specializes in the type of procedure you want.

If you do proper research you are much more likely to be happy with the result and you may even decide that you no longer want body sculpting or a breast reduction procedure and are happy with your body the way it is. Honestly, nobody is perfect and thinking that an operation will make you so is just delusional thinking. At bare minimum read as many plastic surgery reviews as possible.

Mother Without the Correct Child Car Seat Refused Taxi Ride

After a recent visit to Worcester by Train, one of our regular customers contacted us to ask about child car seats and where we stand as Taxi Drivers and the new UK child seat laws and restrictions. Ms Jones and her young daughter were sent away from a Worcester Taxi Rank for not having the correct baby car seat with her.

The Cheltenham Taxi website is of the view that the Worcester Taxi driver involved was properly a bit keen when it comes to road safety, or may not have been aware of the exemptions for Children who travel via Taxi. It can be a hard shout for Taxi drivers, as they are legally responsible for ensuring children under 14 are belted up correctly whilst travelling in their Taxi.

Children are exempt from the child car seats laws whilst travelling in a taxi, as long as a certain criteria is met:

Children under 3 may sit on an adults lap in the rear of a Taxi, as long as the adult is wearing a seatbelt –the seatbelt must only be around the adult and not the baby.

Children 3 years and over may sit in the rear of a taxi using just the seatbelt, if the correct baby car seat or booster seat for the child’s age and weight is not available.

No child under the age of 13 and less than 135cm in height may travel in the front seat of a taxi.

If you are planning a Taxi journey for an advanced date, there maybe sufficient time to arrange for the correct child car seats to be available.

Just the same as with a bus or a train, a Taxi will not have the right size baby car seats with them for your children, nor would anyone expect you to carry several different child or booster seats around with you whilst travelling on public transport.

If you booked a Cheltenham Taxi in advance to take you and a child to the airport, we would be more than happy to hold on to your baby car seat for you and make it available for you on the return journey.

Disclaimer.

This is not safety advice for your children when using a Taxi service, it just our interpretation of current UK child seat legislation. If you need advice, please contact your local road safety unit at your local authority.

If you have to eat healthy but don’t have the time to prepare what you must eat, then you have to maximize, right? No matter how busy you may be, it is vital to your health to eat the recommended daily amounts of fruits, vegetables, dairy, grains and proteins.

Thus you ought to experiment with reduced fat recipes for a change of pace and to promote healthy eating habits. Here are some of them.

1. Salmon contains Omega 3 Salmon might not be the most lean fish however it offers you the amount of Omega 3 that is necessary for you to have. It contains two powerful nutrients-garlic and olive oil. Also salmon recipes are very popular and there are many variations how to prepare salmon.

2. Making the most out of chicken breast If you’re getting sick and tired of always having to eat a chicken breast recipe (because it has the lowest fat content), you can cook it in different ways for variety. It can be cooked with pasta and broccoli, make chicken soup, or throw in some pineapple.

3. Your veggies are a masterpiece if you are not desiring microwaved broccoli or sautd veggies in chicken broth. You could try microwaving yams rather than broccoli, drizzling them with honey for more delicious taste.

4. Spicing up the fruits You can mix blueberries and strawberries with low-fat cottage cheese for a snack. It may be light but it’s filling because of the healthy nutrients you’re getting. You can cook nectarines or peaches that have been cut up and sprinkle on a little bit of cinnamon or vanilla.

5. Also, you can broil up some bananas, and flavor them with spices like cinnamon and cloves. To make it less fattening, instead of using oil use light cooking spray. To keep food from sticking to your pan, a light mist containing olive or canola oil is ideal. There are some brands offering flavors for the food. A recipe with fried chicken is one example of a recipe that contains lots of fat.

Before putting fowl or meat in the fridge, cut off the skin and/or fat so you won’t have to remember to do that later.

7. It also conserves time when you desire to cook. It is good to keep a bottle of water close to you. A giant sports bottle will do the trick. Fill it up every morning and toss some ice cubes in it and you’re good for the day.

Water will help you digest foods and keep your skin free of acne. Drinking the recommended 8-10 glasses of water a day is a wonderful thing for your body.
